WINE SUMMER SCHOOl
This summer, join us for three 2-hour wine education classes in our glass enclosed tasting room. Our curriculum is designed to give you a better understanding of the key grape varietals and the geographic regions they come from. In these classes you will learn how to taste wine, how to understand wine-related terminology, how to read labels, how to choose wines and pair them with food and much more.
Each class includes 2 hour of expert instruction and a flight tasting of 6-8 wines.
Admission Details: 1 class - $30 | 3 class package - $75
Only 12 Seats per class. Must Be 21 Years and Older.
Moscato and Friends

Muscat/ Moscato is a fascinating grape, with numerous varieties of varying colors from white to near black planted throughout the world. It is believed that it is the world’s oldest grape variety. Moscato has been the fastest growing wine on the American market, growing at a rate of 25 percent a year for the last three years, and it shows no signs of stopping. Now’s your chance to “know your moscato” Please join us as explore and learn about Moscato and friends.
The Wines of Summer

What do we want from our wines in the sunny days and sultry nights of summer? Lighter and cooler but also packed with flavor and personality. Join us as we explore the wines from whites to red to enjoy the season’s weather and food at the beach, pool or BBQ. Come and learn to access your summer soul and you will always pick the perfect wine.
Flavors of Fall
Thursday, August 17th from 7pm-9pm
What exactly does it take to make a great wine? August, September and October mark the prime time for the annual grape harvest for most wineries in Europe and North America. Join us for our last summer class to learn what actually goes into that bottle and taste some great wines. Our Sommelier, Wine Judge instructor promises all secrets will be revealed and your ability to choose a great wine whether in a Restaurant or Wine store will be optimized.
About Our Instructor
Ms. JoAnn DeGaglia is a Certified Specialist of Wine and a member of the Society of Wine Educators as well as a Certified Sommelier earning an American and Italian Wine Specialist Degree from the North American Sommelier Assn. She is a popular Wine Educator and Associate Instructor at the Westchester Wine School in New York and the North American Sommelier Assn. Recently she earned her Wine Judge Certification from the American Wine Society and Judges at Wine competitions all over the country. She works part time at two of the Hudson Valleys great wine destinations, Brotherhood Americas Oldest Winery and the Wine Spectators award winning Glenmere Mansion in Chester New York.
